30 years of Renaissance

Renaissance, world-leading provider of cloud-based assessment software, is celebrating its 30th year of success.

Founded by Wisconsin couple Judi and Terry Paul in 1986, Renaissance has been established in the UK since 1999. We have a presence in over 40,000 schools in more than 60 countries worldwide, and over 5,000 schools in the UK.

As well as providing teachers with valuable access to the reading habits, abilities and preferences of their students for three decades, Renaissance has also inspired a love of reading in hundreds of thousands of students worldwide.

Alongside Renaissance Accelerated Reader™, the world's most widely used reading management software, Renaissance Star Assessments™ for reading and maths have now been used by teachers worldwide for three decades to ensure every student is achieving the success they are capable of.

This year Gary Alexander, Deputy Head of Battle and Langton CE Primary School, shared his experiences with Star Assessments:

"I stumbled across the power of Star Assessments™ when looking at using Accelerated Reader™ to support reading and organise my library... my teachers now have more information than they’ve ever had on learning and progress, and a lower workload."
